1. Download and Install the latest version of AutoRoot Tools (Link below).

2. Enable USB debugging mode on your Archos Saphir 50X.
Go to Settings on your Archos Saphir 50X, then About Phone, then scroll down to Build Number. Tap it seven times, and you’ll see “You are now a developer!” message.

3. Run AutoRoot Tools that you just installed and then connect your Archos Saphir 50X via USB cable.

4. AutoRoot Tools will automatically recognize your Archos Saphir 50X. If auto recognition doesn’t work, you can manually choose your Archos Saphir 50X in Setting Menu.

5. Now, choose the process you want to run on your Archos Saphir 50X. The recommended sequence to run the program is:
* Unlock Archos Saphir 50X Bootloader
* Install Custom Recovery (TWRP) on Archos Saphir 50X
* Root Archos Saphir 50X

6. Each process will be completed in 5-10 minutes, and your Archos Saphir 50X will restart several times.
